Casing head is the wellhead device which is installed at the top of the external casing. It is used to hang the internal casing. Mainly consists of body, casing-spool, casing hanger, sealing components, by-pass gate valve.

Casing head can be designed to integral structure and divided structure according to requirement, the way of linking between casing head and external casing can be: screw type, slip-type casing hanger structure: slip type, screw side outlet linking type: screw type, flange type；bottom of both casing head and casing spool are equipped with casing secondary sealing mechanism and sealing check port.
